A Simple Gesture (ASG) is a nonprofit organization that engages the community to provide a regular supply of food to local food banks so they can focus on feeding families who need it the most! ASG makes giving nonperishable food convenient by giving donors the bags to fill with food then picking those bags up for the food pantries.

How it works:

1. 1. 1. Sign up for a bag at your local A Simple Gesture chapter. Find a Chapter here.

      2. You will get a signature green bag with a list of most needed food items at your local food bank as well as a list of dates that A Simple Gesture volunteers will pick up your bag from your home.

      3. On your designated pick up date, leave a bag full of food on your front porch. A volunteer will pick up the bag, leave you a new bag for the next pick up and will then deliver the food directly to your local food bank.
